Buying a refurbished game console
Refurbished consoles are cleaned, tested and reset to factory settings before resale. Controllers and cooling are the parts that show use first.
Guides for game consoles- Ask whether controllers are included and tested for stick drift and button wear.
- Check that the console has been reset and is free of previous accounts.
- Confirm storage size and whether games or subscriptions are transferable (they usually are not).
- When buying from a professional seller, you have a right to a conforming product. In the Netherlands this legal protection has no fixed term and depends on what you can reasonably expect.
