Refurbished wearables are tested and reset before resale. Because they sit on your skin all day, battery and strap condition deserve extra attention.
Guides for wearables- Battery wear is the main issue: ask for the measured capacity or a minimum guarantee.
- Check whether the strap has been replaced or is included new.
- Confirm the device is unpaired and free of activation locks from the previous owner.
- When buying from a professional seller, you have a right to a conforming product. In the Netherlands this legal protection has no fixed term and depends on what you can reasonably expect.
