Buying refurbished: what to know
A refurbished product has been checked, cleaned and, where needed, repaired before resale. That is different from a regular second-hand sale, where the product is usually sold as-is.
Read our refurbished buying guides- Check the stated condition and ask what has been tested or replaced.
- When buying from a professional seller, you have a right to a conforming product. In the Netherlands this legal protection has no fixed term and depends on what you can reasonably expect.
- You normally have a 14-day return right when buying online from a professional seller.
